Our established and fast-growing IT Services client is looking for an experienced Account Director to drive revenue growth, nurture key client relationships, and expand business opportunities within the IT VAR space. This is a fantastic opportunity for a high-level sales professional with a strong network of industry contacts and a strategic, results-driven approach.
As an Account Director, you will:
- Manage key client accounts, ensuring long-term success and growth
- Identify and capitalise on new business opportunities within enterprise and mid-market sectors
- Develop and execute strategic account plans to maximise revenue potential
- Maintain and strengthen customer relationships at C-suite and senior stakeholder levels
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the seamless delivery of IT solutions and services
- Work closely with tier-one vendors and suppliers to provide market-leading offerings
- Drive brand awareness and establish our client as a trusted IT partner
- Have 5+ years of VAR sales/account management experience, including strategic account ownership
- Possess an extensive network of decision-makers across the IT sector
- Be a strategic thinker with a consultative sales approach
- Demonstrate strong commercial acumen and the ability to negotiate complex deals
- Have a proven track record of hitting and exceeding sales targets
- Show exceptional communication and relationship-building skills
- Be team-oriented, results-driven, and ambitious
- £40,000 - £70,000 base salary
- Uncapped earnings – realistic OTE of £60,000 - £100,000
