Our Texas-based, early-stage AI-driven client has developed a next-generation networking and business guidance platform that drives collective intelligence and brand visibility. They have an immediate US-based remote opening for an experienced LLM Engineer to meet their exciting growth plans.
LLM Engineer responsibilities
- Develop and refine universal small and large language models (ULLM and SLM).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into products.
- Design and implement machine learning models for NLP tasks across multiple languages.
- Analyze and preprocess large datasets to extract meaningful insights.
- Optimize algorithms to enhance AI model performance and accuracy.
- Mentor and grow a team of data scientists and engineers.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in AI and data science.
- Ensure ethical use of AI and uphold data privacy standards.
- Proficiency in Python (e.g., NumPy, pandas, sci-kit-learn) and Java (e.g., Weka, Deeplearning4j).
- Familiarity with Rust, C, C++, and scripting languages like Bash and Perl.
- Experience with databases such as Elastic VDB, MySQL, Redis, Milvus, Pinecone, Cassandra, and Chroma DB.
- Strong understanding of supervised and unsupervised learning, neural networks, and optimization techniques.
- Proficiency with deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Keras.
- Knowledge of NLP concepts such as tokenization, part-of-speech tagging, and named entity recognition.
- Experience with NLP libraries and tools like NLTK, spaCy, and Stanford CoreNLP.
- Ability to handle large datasets, including data cleaning, preprocessing, and feature engineering.
- Understanding of distributed computing frameworks like Hadoop and Spark.
- Strong foundation in linear algebra, calculus, and probability theory.
