The Role
Business Development Representative Responsibilities:
- Market Research & Lead Generation: Identify and prioritize target accounts, research key decision-makers, and engage prospects via outbound activities (cold calling, email campaigns, social media outreach).
- Meeting Scheduling: Qualify leads and arrange meetings for the sales team, ensuring a seamless handover to drive conversions.
- Closing Deals: Manage and close smaller deals independently while nurturing long-term client relationships.
- Sales Strategy & Reporting: Maintain accurate records in CRM (e.g., Salesforce), track performance, and analyze sales data to refine outreach strategies.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and best practices to enhance sales effectiveness.
- 1-2 years of experience in business development, sales development, or inside sales.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Proven ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
- Experience using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and sales engagement platforms (e.g., LinkedIn Sales Navigator).
- A proactive mindset, resilience, and a results-driven approach.
- Demonstrated ability to exceed sales quotas and KPIs.
- Experience building and maintaining a strong pipeline of qualified leads.
- Ability to effectively schedule meetings and ensure high conversion rates.
- Proven track record of closing smaller deals and contributing to overall revenue growth.
- Willingness to continuously improve sales techniques and share insights with the team.
- An initial base salary circa 60-65k
- 90k Uncapped OTE
