180-220k base Salary + Excellent Benefits
Our client, a leader in advanced analytics and AI-driven decision-making, is a 100+ staff, Series C, Deep Learning SaaS startup who have their origins at part of a research lab at CalTech and the NASA JPL. Due to their strong ties to the DoD, they are currently seeing a DevSecOps Engineer in Washington DC.

Due to their strong ties to the DoD, they are currently seeing a DevSecOps Engineer in Washington DC.
DevSecOps Engineer responsibilities:
- Collaborate with federal customers and systems integrators to secure deployment authorization.
- Design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure and deployment processes.
- Implement and enforce cybersecurity measures to protect systems from threats.
- Develop and enhance automation for software development, release, and deployment workflows
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to infrastructure and deployment.
- Work closely with Platform Engineers, AI Engineers, Data Scientists, and QA teams to address deployment challenges.
- Active TS/SCI security clearance preferred or the ability to obtain (US Citizenship required)
- Willingness to work on-site at a government facility when required and travel occasionally.
- Education: BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a relevant field.
- Experience: 5+ years as a DevSecOps Engineer or similar role.
- Advanced expertise in AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes, and Docker.
- Experience deploying scalable, enterprise SaaS applications.
- Experience deploying containerized applications in DoD environments (e.g., Advana, Platform One, ODIN, Palantir FedStart).
- Familiarity with security frameworks such as CMMC, NIST-800-171, or FedRAMP.
